API develops, manages, and markets continuing medical education courses and associated study materials to physicians. The Sr. Marketing Specialist will develop and execute effective marketing campaigns to target physicians. You should have knowledge of direct mail, print ads, email and internet marketing. Key responsibility/accountabilities; Manage marketing campaigns, develop integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns in coordination with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing. Oversee website look/function; coordinate with Marketing Communications Specialist and Graphic Designers to update look/feel of websites. Knowledge and skills required:
Qualifications/Essential functionsThe Editor is responsible for the editorial content of API education products. The Editor sources the content and ensures its delivery in the appropriate product format. Additional responsibilities include sourcing medical writers/editors and editing various API products for grammar, content, and style. Key responsibilities/accountabilities: Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) database editing, sourcing: contacting potential medical writers/editors through a variety of means, miscellaneous product line editing; Marketing collateral, CME-to-Go, Genius Brief e-zine. Qualifications/Essential functionsThe Course Manager will work with the Event Planning Manager to professionally and efficiently coordinate and manage the details of assigned CME courses. The position will plan and execute, and will be responsible for managing to a deadline, will drive all aspects of course planning and execution and will interface with high level physician customers, peers and vendors.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities include: Coordinate assigned CME courses, including pre, on-site and post course logistics, speaker arrangements and invoice reconciliation. Track and monitor attendee registration counts, weekly room pick-up and reservation cut-off dates, Contact travel partner to coordinate faculty travel. Communicate meeting room set-up issues with venue. Manage budgets for assigned courses and review final billing of courses to insure accuracy. On-site management of 15+ courses per year. Act as Liaison between hotel administration and various API departments. Knowledge and Experience required:
